Using PLR To Create Online Courses (Part 1)

I've considered making an online course.
Been watching videos about Udemy and other platforms.

I've seen full courses on torrent sites
so content is apprently being ripped off from Udemy somehow.

Just was saying that there ARE full courses on there....
Not sure how they get courses from there to put on torrent sites.
Just an observation that it's happening.
*Be warned*

Anyway, there are free softwares you can use
to record your screen.

The free version of Screencast-o-matic is only for personal use
(at least I'm pretty sure that it is).
On the free version, they also put their branding on the video
and you're limited to 15 minutes per video.
They have a paid version (which I'm thinking of looking into).
(Right now, I'm limited in what I can do).

Which is why I've been working on blogging
and checking out free platforms, software, and options.

Also to show you that a lot can be done with little money.

My suggestion is to turn PLR into your own video content.
You own your content.
That is the purpose of repurposing PLR content.
This is why it is an asset.

(I was lucky to get access to a cool sofware for a small investment)
as a bonus for getting a product through a friend's affiliate link.

The best value as far as making videos goes....
As far as software.... I'd say it's Open Broadcaster Studio.
You can do green screen stuff with it, too.
I heard about it from someone who was using it
to make videos for his business. Promo stuff.

He did a good job with it and had fun with it.
You can tell he was having fun with it, it showed
and it kept people tuning in to watch him.

Anyway, he was using a FREE software
to help make a name for himself and for his business.

You can do whatever you want with the videos you make with it.
You can upload them to facebook, youtube.... Etc.

Not only can you record your screen with OBS,
you can do live streams with it.
You can live stream straight onto youtube with it.
(I'm not 100% sure, but you may be able to live stream onto facebook, too)
I'm sure there are tools you can use to livestream onto facebook, though.

But live streaming onto youtube is pretty cool.
You can also live stream onto Twitch with OBS.
If that's something you want to do, that's cool, too.

I found this guide to OBS:
(I have a link to OBS on my list of free tools on this blog)

Maybe I'll put it in a PDF format. Make a download of it.
It's handy to keep a list handy.
I've been writing down things to do and get done
so that I can keep moving forward.

I have to remind myself that it's good to take breaks sometimes.
I want to get things done as quickly as possible.
There are lots of times that I need to start over.
I redesigned my website a bunch of times.

I'm trying something new with my design, yet again.

A part of it is wanting to present something different and original.
Another part of it is wanting to do a good job on it.
I know it won't be perfect.
Especially at first. I'm still learning stuff.

I'm into coding, as I mentioned in a pervious post...
(The Site That Started It All)
I wrote about how I got inspired to learn how to write code.

I'll be writing in the next post about a cool text effect I found out about.
